Error Codes
Section titled “Error Codes”| Error Code | Description |
|---|---|
| VERY | Gas supply or service turned off. (Gas Model only.) Confirm that house gas shutoff valve is open. |
| DOES | House fuse is blown, circuit breaker has tripped, or power outage has occurred. Check electrical supply. |
| LONG | Exhaust ducts are blocked, dirty, or duct run is too long. Clothes take too long to dry. Inspect ventilation system. |
Common Issues
Section titled “Common Issues”- Extended drying times - Often caused by lint buildup in filters or exhaust ducts. Clean lint trap after every load and inspect ducts annually.
- Failure to start - Verify power supply (error code DOES) and ensure door is fully closed. Check for tripped breakers or blown fuses.
- Unusual noises - May indicate foreign objects in drum or worn rollers/bearings. Inspect drum interior and contact LG service if persistent.
