Section titled “RAS-EH12RHLAE Air Conditioner Error Code Reference”The Hitachi RAS-EH12RHLAE (12,000 BTU Inverter Wall-Mount Mini-Split Air Conditioner and Heat Pump) uses the following diagnostic error codes:

| E1 | High pressure fault — refrigerant system high-side pressure exceeded safe limit |
| E2 | Anti-freeze protection — indoor coil temperature dropped to ice-formation threshold |
| E3 | Low pressure or refrigerant shortage — low-side suction pressure below normal operating range |
| E4 | Indoor unit NTC temperature sensor fault — room air or coil sensor reading out of range |
| E5 | Compressor discharge temperature fault — discharge pipe temperature exceeded safe limit |
| E6 | Communication fault — signal loss between indoor and outdoor units |
| E7 | Indoor fan motor fault — fan motor or Hall-effect speed sensor abnormality |
